Extra nice link style navajo concho belt made of sterling silver 16 individual conhcos plus the buckle for a total of 17 conchos as well as 17 individual diamond shaped sterling silver spacers including the latch for the buckle. The conchos measure approx. 1 by 1 1/4 inches in an oval form and the spacers ( sometimes called butterflies) maesure approx. 5/16 by 3/4 inches. Teh entire belt measures approx. 32 inches long. Each and every concho and spacer has a tiny tuquoisite stone. Turquoisite stones were common in this period and are made of the compressed shavings of turquoise frmo other projects. They have a more matte quality to the stone and wonderful coloring as well.
Teh spacers are nicely stamped with classic period stamping. The latch is marked, 'sterling and it is not signed as expected for age. Nice original patina and perfect for a holiday gift or add ot your own collection it has a super low reserve!
